S T A N D A R D   E Q U I P M E N T

Isophtalic NG Gelcoats used to ensure bright and lasting finsh.  Polyester resins used throughout.  Each batch of resin and gelcoat received laboratory testing before use.  Finite element analysis was preformed in high-load areas during the engineering process.
Hull: Hand-laid, solid laminate hull.  Barrier Coat used to guard against osmosis.
Hull Structure: 3rd Generation counter-moulded structure guled and laminated to hull for  strength.  High load zones cut-out for access to the hull.
8 Hull ports in acylic, bonded from exterior
Bulheads are bonded to both the hull and deck using special high-performance polyurethane adhesives.
Bilge areas finished with a gelcoat paint
Injected deck using a 2 part mould via Prisma Process.  Coring and laminated materials are laid up dry before the mould is closed.  Once closed, resin is injected into the void.  This process yields a viery high-end part that is finished on both sides and reduces the wight by 30% with minimum impact on the enviroment.
Appendages
Each appendage was signed by Brian Yacht Design to correspond to the navigation profile of a stable, offshore cruiser.

SAILS

GENERATOR

Onan 7.5 KW 220v 1500RPM in its sound shield and located in a sound-shield compartment under the main salon floor, access via pneumatically assisted hinged floor panels(Includes dedicated starting battery).

In order to accommodate a high level of standard equipment, as well as optional extras, the Jeanneau 64 uses 3 electrical systems: 24v for house systems, 12v for engine systems and 230v/115v shore power and generator systems.
